Where to start......My name is Brandi Slater. I have never written a blog before so I'm not really sure how to begin....I suppose I should start by saying a little bit about myself: I am 19 years old, I have six younger brothers and sisters, I think laughing is the best thing in the world, I love comedies and romance movies, I have been babysitting since I was like ten years old and have taken many classes for early childhood education and daycare, I live in Michigan and I don't care what anyone says about MI...I love it, I like all types of music, and I want to be an author. I have so many ideas for books and I have written the storyline down, planned the whole series out, written character summaries, basically figured out and planned everything for each story idea....all I have to do now is actually write the story! The only problem with that is that I babysit my younger sisters and brother most of the week and so when I'm not doing that I just want a little time to myself to relax. I have started writing a little of one of the stories. It will be the first book in a series for adults and I think that I'm going to try to do the self-publishing thing instead of trying to find a publishing company to publish me. If it doesn't really work, then I suppose I will try the traditional route.
Well, that's pretty much all that I have to say right now....hopefully I finish a book soon!
